RIGHT back where we started from.

I made a massive overhaul of my home office over the weekend - partly to clear up space, partly to get reference material for the three, well, four if you count the spy thing I haven't told Anna about yet - sorry, five, because the fantasy Western is still on the books - five projects we're slow-cooking here in the Illogical Kitchens closer to hand. And I found some old friends.

Quite old friends, actually. The postmark on that envelope from Greg Mannino tells me I've been thinking about this Modern Oz project since 2003. Ten Years. The Composition Book begins with the word OZ, circled several times, and contains notes and hand-written drafts for scripts up to issue 6.

I can't wait to read 'em and learn how I compromised my own notions.
